Crowdfunded Friday!

Hello gadgeteers! Welcome to this weeks "Crowdfunded Friday" thread!

In the past we got a ton of submissions about crowdfunded products that are not available yet. So much so that they started to overwhelm the regular submissions. This is why today we have a rule against products with on going crowdfunding campaigns.

But at same time we do recognize that a lot of people still want to see and share these campaigns, which is why we have this thread! Feel free to share and discuss any gadgets with an ongoing crowdfunding campaign here!

How i spent my XMas Vacation - a new master bath

I spent Christmas vacation working renovating a master bath.

There are descriptions on the pictures but a few general notes:

Bathtub - 800 Tile - 1400 Mirrors - 200 Sink - 800 Faucets - 400 Lights - 200 Toilet - 150 Wood - 800

I didn't keep a good tally on prices, but I'm probably at around 6 grand for this. I always overbuy on materials and tools.

This is actually about 3 months worth of work, mostly working on weekends.

What I changed:

New bathtub New sink Tile shower Tile floor New wall treatment Scrape popcorn New lights New toilet Repair broken drain Go from one sink to the 2

I did hire a plumber to fix the broken toilet drain and to put in a tee for the dual sinks.

mbox 2 with yosemite

i have had the mbox 2 for a long time that has worked with my pro tools on an imac for quite some time. i was on mountain lion and decided to upgrade to os x yosemite. as soon as it was done i realize that my mbox 2 wasn't even lighting up or being recognized by my computer. i went on google and saw some people had this issue too. i dont want to buy a new mbox. is there any way to make my mbox 2 work with is x yosemite?

How to put up curtains using only a basic multi tool and without drilling any holes in the wall?

Some background: I live in a college dorm and happened to get a room with a window directly across a street lamp post. The blinds that came with the room block only a tiny fraction of the light at night and my sleep is already suffering. I tried a sleep mask but the light is so strong that still a good amount filters through the edges of the mask.

I am not allowed to drill any holes on the wall and since I am out of state, don't have any tools other than a basic multi tool that comes with a screwdriver (also, I don't plan to spend money on a drill that I will eventually have to get rid off). Are there any easy to install "curtains" that I can just clip onto the wall or something?

My ideas so far:

Measuring the window and getting a big cardboard piece that fits it just right. Then, paint one side black and put it against the window before I go to sleep.
Getting thumbtacks and just pinning sheets against the wall and tying them together like this whenever I want daylight coming into the room.

I am just looking for a better alternative than these. Otherwise, what would the best way get a cardboard to fit the size of my window (approx. 6 ft. tall by 4 ft. wide)? Should I just buy some cardboard boxes and duct tape them together?
