A Question About Maths For A Suspended Chair

I want to have a crack at building something like this chair but I'm envisioning using iron plumbing pipe as the legs and stem. Is there some calculation or tool I could use to know how much weight can safely be supported or hung from the tip of the stem? How much weight can I put in the chair, basically.

I'm also curious if there's a way to know how far out the feet should extend to keep the chair solid.

Question about Google Glass

What ever happened to the Google Glass? I've been hearing about this for years and from what I remember they started selling them quite a while ago.

After that, I haven't heard a peep.

What's happening? Are people buying them? I haven't seen anybody wearing them.

Best Gaming Mouse Around/Under $100

I've been using the Razer DeathAdder mouse paired with a Razer Vespula pad for around 2 years. The DeathAdder is a great mouse, but recently, some of the side grip has started to peel off. I know that could easily be fixed with some super glue, but It's given me an excuse to find a new and better mouse. The Vespula pad sometimes doesn't give me enough room to work with, so I am planning on ordering the SteelSeries QcK+ pad, which looks like it would suit my needs well, considering I play mostly FPS games. Now, I was wondering what new mouse I should buy that is around the $100 range, and would pair good with my new SteelSeries QcK+ pad I am planning on getting?
