I am over the moon that my SS did some digging into my profile, and ordered me a wonderful book by Black & Decker. It's all about lavish DIY projects, ranging from an 8-player Poker table to building a Home Theater room from the wall studs on. The book has detailed run-throughs of each articles' content. I plan to try a few, but some of them, such as the Cigar Lounge, are out of my budget.
Hello! I quite recently bought a house built in 1978. Currently in the process of renovating just about the entire house before actually moving in. However I need some help when it comes to the old standalone garage on the property. It's old, but not ruined yet, but by the looks of it, the walls are no longer level. I only need to support/strengthen the garage, so it will be in usable condition for 2-3 years. The floor is concrete, although I have no idea what the old owner did to make the floor so uneven. The rest of the garage is made of wood. I am looking for a cheap DIY solutions as I will tear the garage down in 2-3 years time, and build a new garage somewhere else on the property, as this area is in development and the roads that will be implemented will render this garage useless. I'll post the dimensions and pictures later if needed, as I am currently at work. All help appreciated!:)
