[Plumbing] Extending Dishwasher cold water and drainage -

Hi /r/DIY I seriously need help, because I don't know if I'm going to do something stupid. Basicly I have dishwasher near washing machine. And dishwasher both cold water and drainage is around 20cm (10") to short. So what I was think is getting two Y splitter for both coldwater and drainage.

Now in dishwasher manual says that it shouldn't be extended, but I only need to extend it a little(I think I have 1.5m pipe right now, I was thinking about getting 2m drain).

I also found [that]( http://ift.tt/1NnjnfZ\) and it says that as long as it's less than 3m for drain, and 4m for cold water it should be ok.

Can amazing hive mind, help me out not to destroy my house? :)
