I recently purchased/returned a 40" Samsung smart tv (refresh rate 60Hz/120Hz CMR) MODEL UN40H5203 ( http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN40H5203-40-Inch-1080p-Smart/dp/B00K4UIOA4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417383980&sr=8-1&keywords=un40h5203afxzaand ) was very unsatisfied with it due to extreme motion blur. I currently own a 46' Samsung smart tv (refresh rate 60Hz/120Hz CMR) MODEL UN46EH5300 (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN46EH5300-46-Inch-1080p-Model/dp/B0074FGP4Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417384075&sr=8-1&keywords=UN46EH5300)
that has no motion blur. That being said the refresh rate does not matter because I have experienced first hand that 60 Hz/ 120Hz CMR refresh rate is capable of preventing motion blur. I want to get either the UN40H5500 model or the UN40H6203 model, which model will prevent motion blur?
