May I ask what is the best smartwatch I could choose? Planning to get a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact for myself along with it.

Hey there.

So since my Ma can never figure out what she could buy for me for Christmas or birthdays, when she heard about smartwatches she decided to buy one of these. Can you guys recommend me the best ones around and maybe tell me a little about the current popular ones (like, I dunno, Sony's Smartwatch)?

I suppose I like having a nice choice of applications (whatever those might be on a smartwatch, never had a proper look at what is there, but being able to check your e-mail or social sites sounds nice. Managing your music would be godly, as I tend to pick one song from one performer and then one from the other, which has me pull out my phone every 3 minutes), got a preference for square screens and would prefer to have it last for a while, as I try not to purchase a new phone / watch every two years or so.

I heard of the Pebble or Moto 360, what makes those stand out too?
