Help with finding part for broken sash window cord

Hello. The cord broke on my sash window and there are plenty of guides online about how to replace the cord but they all suggest just nailing the cord into the window. In this case the snapped cord hooks onto a screw so that the window can be swung out for cleaning. Does anyone know what the crimp on the end is called or ideally can you link to a UK supplier I could buy it from? There's a pic in the link below. An easier option I thought of would be to find a metal crimp like on the end of the cord and crimp the broken rope together. Again though I've no idea where to find this.
