[Help] I need to remove a 1m x 1m x 50mm amount of concrete from my floor. Best method?

Want to fit a wet room. Have a tiled concrete floor. I'll need to remove the tiles and a 50mm later of concrete to fit the wet room tray (gives a steady 2% gradient to tile over)..

Best method?

I was thinking score it like a pizza with an angle grinder to 50mm depth and then hitting the crap out of it with a sledge hammer.

That seems like it might work. Would it? Is there a better way? Don't mind renting tools.
