Summary

I am looking to build a bookshelf/tv entertainment center.

Plans

I found some plans for a bookcase from Ana White to start with (http://ift.tt/1GFNPgr) but I want it to be more like 1 side of the end product: http://ift.tt/1ERjZbi

Tools

Have:

• Square
• Tape measure
• Drill
• Random Orbital Sander

I think I need:

• Kreg Jig - Maybe http://ift.tt/1GFNPgs
• Brad Nailer - Maybe http://ift.tt/1ERjZbk
• Would i need a saw of some sort?

Wood

Is solid oak wood hard to obtain? If is too difficult to obtain what type of wood would look nice?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about completing this entire project? Where I can find the cast iron hardware? The website says that this was constructed with mortise and tenon assembly.
