This is where i'm at so far. I ripped up ugly cheap tile that was on the front porch, I grinded down the concrete with an angle grinder and a diamond bit, I have polished/sanded it with 50, 100, and 200 grit resin pads on a 7" variable speed polisher. I cleaned it with TSP, and now I have applied my first coat of acid stain. I want to get a darker and redder color, so I plan on applying at least 1 more coat. Do I need to clean the concrete with the acid stain neutralizer and clean off the residue before applying my 2nd coat? After I get it stained to where I want I plan to polish it with 400, 800, 1500, and 3000 grit. I would also like to seal it with a high gloss sealer. Would you all recommend doing that after the stain and before the 400 grit?
