Backyard, adult-sized, booze-filled birthday maze.

My husband and I decided we needed to make an adult-sized maze for our impromptu, combined birthday party (decided to have one 6 days prior).

Husband measured the yard and put it on grid paper. I designed the layout (we wound up tweaking a couple of pipes to make it work a little better on some corners, but very mild changes). We bought a metric ton of 3/4" PVC pipe (not Schedule 40, we didn't need the thickness, but we could've used the weight). We cut the PVC to 6' segments for the vertical pieces. We built a lot of our own custom joints, because they didn't carry what we needed in-store (and time wasn't on our side). We reinforced with stakes and twine. We put the walls up with packing tape and rolls of plastic tablecloth. :)

We put goodies and a bottle of booze on each dead end and sent everyone in with goodie bags and a shot glass. Needless to say, our friends may now need liver transplants.

Here are some of the photos of the various stages of the maze. I'll update the album if anyone sends me anything good from the actual party: (none of these have the goodies/booze on the tables, but you get the idea) http://ift.tt/1GQr4IH

Here is an aerial video of the maze the morning after: https://youtu.be/IJ9kMoYYJk8

Here is the (surprisingly clean) walkthrough video the morning after (again, booze and goodies removed from the tables, but you get the idea) (sorry in advance about my finger): https://youtu.be/TeQ0IcD75Xk
