Hello, I bought a house with a sump pump and drain system that need to be redone. It was done incorrectly originally, i had a waterproofing company come out and the said it should be replace but quoted me a high price. I have decided to redo the sump pump myself.
I'm pretty much going to do everything in this video. But there are some things that arent explained very well and havent been able to find much informatino about this type of sump pump drain.
First, it looks like the drain pipe is placed on the bottom of the trench but I cant tell if there is rock on the bottom or if the pipe is just placed on the soil.
Second, that waffle membrane stuff, what is its real name? I'm having a hard time finding it.
Advice is greatly appreciated.
Edit: I just found the pipe with liner from homedepots website. I think I will use it just like in the video!
