In the process of insulating my garage to make it a usable workshop during Winter, should I fill or somehow insulate the exposed cinder block voids around the perimeter of my garage floor? The blocks only rise about 2 inches above the floating slab.

I'm in the process of insulating my 2x4 studded attached garage, both in the walls and eventually blowing insulation into the attic space. My 2x4 walls rest on a concrete block foundation around the floor of the perimeter and the voids in the blocks are slightly exposed on the inside about 1/4". Is there any benefit to filling in these voids before I put up drywall, potentially covering the voids up? Should I fill or seal them off with great stuff foam? I can't imagine being able to fit anything else down into the blocks, due to the crack being so narrow.

Thanks
