As the title says, I bought some wooden handled knives as a Christmas gift for a family member, then in a moment of stupidity stuck one of them through the dish washer.
It's stripped the finish and made it quite rough, so I'm going to smooth it back with some 240 grit paper and put... something on it.
What can I put on it that's food safe? I've got a bottle of Danish Oil, will that be ok?
