Slow draining toilet - need help please!

So our toilet has been draining slowly all day. It takes about 1 minute to drain completely, and with no force at all which would be needed for solid waste. I tried plunging it for about two hours total throughout the day, and also tried baking soda and vinegar, and nothing is helping. Sometimes when plunging some solid waste comes back up, but it doesn't help the toilet to drain any better. I know people will mention a snake/auger, and I've tried using one a while back when the toilet was completely clogged (not draining at all), and it didn't help and we needed to call a plumber. That was a manual auger, but I found a power auger that I can rent and am wondering if this will be easier or more effective to use than the manual one? I'll include the link below, and any thoughts or advice is welcomed, as we really cannot afford to pay for a plumber again.
