Building a revolving display case/dome for vintage syringe

I am wanting to build a display case for this syringe to give as a gift.

I have a couple of questions:

How can I fasten the syringe in order to make it stand at an angle? I am wanting it to be standing with the needle upwards, the plunger touching the bottom of the display case and tilted at a 45 degree angle or so.

I want to put a small dome over it, is glass the best way to go for this?

In order to make it rotate, I imagine I just need a wood base, attach a small lazy susan/turn table to the base and then attach another wood platform on top of the lazy susan to conceal it?
