Is this mission impossible? Or just a mission? How would I go about making this table?

I fell in love with this table and am thinking about trying to make it myself - though with a full glass panel underneath and a full glass top, with the wood in between glass (for stability), all on a wood frame with sturdy wood or metal legs.

Is this doable??

I searched for wood planks on eBay, and found quite a few that might do the trick if cut in half.

And no, I've never made a table before. Any opinions or tips would be greatly appreciated!!
