Can I put new concrete over a section of an old concrete driveway?

I've mixed, poured, and spread concrete a few miscellaneous times at jobs, so I think I have that part under control. My problem is, I don't know if you can pour concrete on top of rocks, and broken up concrete. I have a concrete driveway, and about 10% of it is worn HEAVILY(sinking down almost 2 inches). It causes cars to bottom out on the driveway. As a temporary fix, I dumped some white rocks there, but there is still a great deal of lift needed.

Before I go out and buy more rocks, I was wondering if I could put some quick-crete over top, and spread it out, or if it would just crack instantly, considering it's being laid on rocks, and uneven, broken concrete.
