Can I use self-leveling cement as my floor?

I'm renovating my basement bathroom. I'm going for a very industrial look and was planning on having a layer of concrete poored as my floor (by a professional). Doing the floor prep myself (with the help of a semi-pro) we installed, in order:

• 1) This sub membrane, directly on the basement concrete

• 2) This heated floor

• 3) This self-level cement. We pourred between 1/2" and 1" all around.

We played around with the self-leveling cement to give it this look and, at this point, I really like the finish and would like to know if I could simply apply some sort of epoxy/protective material to keep it as my floor, without any additional concrete or tiling? This is also the shower floor, so it will receive tons of water over time.
