How can I securely, but temporarily, attach a larger plywood or MDF top to a folding card table?

I have a 34" X 34" folding card table that is not large enough for some of the games I play. I want to attach a 36" X 50" piece of plywood or MDF to the top in such a way that it is held securely, but can be removed when not needed leaving the card table undamaged and able to be used without the larger top. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Thanks.
