I'm crossposting this from /r/upholstery since it's not super active over there.
I'm not new to woodworking, but I've never done upholstery of any sort. The SO wanted a tantra chair, so I've made the majority of it up to the part where I actually have to make the cushion. I would think you'd want these things to be pretty stiff - or at least I would:
I've gone to the store to feel "High density foam", and I don't think it's nearly dense enough for these purposes. Does anyone have any suggestions for the sort of foam that would work in a project like this?
