DIY Dry Shampoo

Hi, I'm certainly not the first person to come up with this but I just wanted to share a super cheap and effective dry shampoo method/product: baby powder. If you have lighter hair, you can use it plain. Or if you have darker hair, I've read you can mix it with cocoa powder (which will prevent you from having weird white spots on your scalp that didn't rub in well.) I use some baby powder on my hair after my second day or the beginning of my third day of not washing my hair. You literally sprinkle it on your scalp wherever you need it. I usually start along my side part, sprinkling the powder and rubbing it around with my fingers. Then I part my hair on the other side and do that side. I do the middle (top), and take time to get the back (crown) of my head really well too. Sometimes I even get near the scalp on the back of my head. Sprinkling and rubbing the baby powder into my hair takes literally a minute to a minute and a half. I've had more success with baby powder than baking soda and even than multiple spray cans of dry shampoo. With my hair, the baking powder takes a couple of hours to sink into my hair before I really feel like the oil is absorbed. Once it has settled in well, my hair can go another two full days without showering and it feels super clean. And did I mention the volume? My fine flat blond hair gets crazy volume after this process! It's truly amazing for my hair. So, this is me sharing my love of DIY baby powder dry shampoo. Super cheap, super effective. (I just found it in my bathroom, actually). Message me if you have any questions! Thanks.
