Looking for a standalone GPS for my car.

I've been using a TomTom for about 3 years but I don't have unlimited map updates, so have to keep buying the updated ones.

I figure it's not a bad idea to buy one with traffic and unlimited map updates.

Usually, I'd just get the new version of the TomTom but I though I'd open up my search and see if there is a better option out there.

The main thing I'm looking for is ease of use and maps of NZ and Australia.

I use my phone for short trips in town but it tends to overheat after about 10min and I drive to places that don't have reception.
