Looking to buy an external hard drive for Christmas and could use suggestions on one that is good and inexpensive.

Hey guys, i need to buy 2 externals (one for myself and one for a christmas present) I found this one on amazon, but I don't know if this is an actual external hard drive or something else (amazons description was kinda confusing since I'm not tech savvy)
