Recently puchased a home. I purchased a new Schlage B60 Deadbolt to replace front door with. The actual deadbolt that goes into the door through the side is rectangular and will not fit in the circular hole that currently fits the existing schlage deadbolt in the door. I am not sure what the size difference is or how to explain very well. I am not the most handy guy around but I figured the size would be standard and I am unsure of what to do now. From looking up pictures online it appears my existing deadbolt is a "triple option latch" but I dont know how to distinguish that from the ones on the shelf at Home Depot before I get home.
I will include pictures of the locks below so hopefully someone can save me more than 1 more trip to Home Depot.
