If I try to drywall, will I make an ass of myself?

I am a Level 1 DIYer. My best stuff has been tearing apart some floors and either laying down new flooring or refinishing the wood myself.

My basement is "finished," in that it's dry and has carpet, but the walls are still painted cinderblock and it's goddamn cold down there. I'm wondering how insane I'd be to rip up the carpet, drywall myself and put down new carpet when all's said and done.

My woodworking skills are shit. I worry the drywall frames are going to be difficult, and have no idea what all drywall/insulation entails. Bob Vila seems to think I can do this, if I trust the vids I watched. What say you, r/DIY?
