Questions about drilling glass and finding tiny faucets for absinthe fountain

I'm planning on making an absinthe fountain out of a glass bottle and serving tray pedestal that I found at an antique mall. My current plan is to order some diamond drill bits and glass glue from amazon to put everything together. Would this be a good idea or would it be safer to cut the bottom of the bottle with the string/fire method and attach something else to drill into at the bottom?

I am also having trouble finding small drip faucets online, the only ones on amazon are plastic and my local hardware store only has stndard sized ones. Is this something I could find at a larger place like Lowes?
