Like so.
I want to make a similar thing (probably out of wood for now, so I can fuck it up cheaply) that will attach to the back of my recliner and just swivel out in front of me. What kind of mechanism would I use for the joints on something like that?
I know I could simply use a lazy susan bearing on a tiny platform with a fixed arm, but that seems lacking in both style and configurability. I'm hoping I can manage something a little more multi jointed, so I can reposition it as needed.
