Considering purchasing a LG G2 unlocked to use with my pay-as-you-go plan with TMobile. Can you forsee me having any issues?

I know that years ago I had problems with an unlocked phone, but apparently I've also heard that in recent years that's gotten better. What are your alls opinion on this?
