[HELP] I have 3 wires, where do I put the ground wire??

Hello, I'm installing Vortice Vario extractor fan, the manual says there's two wiring configuration: http://ift.tt/1EEPNvI

I want to apply the one on the right (exhaust), what does the link between N4 and 3 means? how can I do it?? and where do I put the protective ground wire??
