My old school was demolished a few weeks ago and they were selling off the old chairs that we used to sit on in assembly. Thought it would be a nice memento as one of my favourite past times as a kid was to etch in swear words and male genitalia with a compass during prayers. I haven't done a thing to it yet so the chair is pretty dirty. What is the best way to bring it back to its formal self? Power wash, sanding and a coat of stain? I am rubbish at this type of thing but I really want to do it myself. As this is a one of a kind chair with a lot of sentimental value I thought it would be better to seek a second opinion!!! There is some damage to the corner as well! Thanks in advance for all the feedback! Cheers :-)
