I can't choose between two tablets. The Xperia Z2 and Samsung Galaxy S Tab 10.5 in. Have a second generation iPad, don't know which to go for. Advice would be much appreciated, thanks, (this is a gift, too, btw).

Sorry for the huge wall of text guys... Okay, so, this is for my mom. She really liked my brothers' new Tabs, but I thought that the Xperia might be better, is that true? Have any of you had experience with these two tablets before? The reason I say the Xperia might be better is that I switched midway through my contract from a Samsung Galaxy S5 to an Xperia Z3. The Samsung got water damage! How ironic. Anyways, I fell in love with the Xperia Z3, and Sony has held a fairly good track record. I always thought that flagship phones were pretty good at representing the flagship tablets, or is that just me? My mom likes Android, and I don't think she'll be buying an Apple product for a long time even if the last one was almost completely free. She currently owns a Samsung Galaxy S5, but doesn't love it to death. But on the other hand, I don't think she's the type of person to love something to death. She doesn't use motion control on it, or the multiple screens, or the ultra saving mode. She mostly just uses it for a calender and games and work stuff. She only plays games and looks up stuff online on her iPad, but, we have to keep up with the jones :) Are there any skeletons in this tablet's closet, any deal breakers? I can only spend ~400-450$, so if the Xperia Z3 Compact's bigger brother does come out, I will not be able to afford it. If you have any cool other suggestions I'd be very willing to look into other ~ 10 inch 400-450 tablets. But she hates her iPad because of the UI, but, other than that, it's dying. One last question... I saw that the Tab went down to 370$, will the Xperia do this anytime soon? Thanks for replying! And sorry for the wall of text again!!
