Hi R/gadgets! I need your help! I am one of the holdouts who has avoided upgrading to a smart phone. In fact, I still had my huge Nokia Brick phone until my service provider forced me to upgrade to a flip phone.
I run a BJJ/MMA Academy and I realize now that my systems management at my gym could benefit greatly by embracing mobile technology. My question is: What kind of smart phone, tablet, or other device would be ideal for managing the following tasks related to running my gym:
-Social media updates -Taking photos and video -Interacting with staff through google drive and video chats -Managing attendance and retail on web-based software (mindbody) -Watching and sharing martial arts videos -working in Microsoft Office -Handling cash, check and credit card transactions
Any advice on your favorite mobile gadgets would be a huge help! Thank you!
