I have an unfinished basement in a large apartment building. It's completely below grade with no windows and all cement walls, floors, and ceiling. A bit of moisture comes through the wall, but here it never freezes. I was planning on following this guide (http://ift.tt/1CVu7sK) to keep it dry and comfortable: rigid insulation board directly against concrete, with 2x4 stud wall pressed against the insulation. Then drywall over the framing. Just wondering if doing this will help me much, since the guide is for insulating a heated basement in Canada.
