My in-laws just moved into a new home, and the main staircase isn't very well illuminated from any of the lights in the house. I was there yesterday and they were talking very strongly about the idea of motion activated LED light strips on both sides of the stairs to light the path when anyone is walking up or down the stairs. What is the best solution for this? Or would this basically require an electrician?
