Moving, must have a door, weird size. Can I cut a hollw core?

I'm needing a 25 x 67 door -- The closest I can find at Home Depot is a 28 x 80, which is obviously way too big. I have to have this door within the next few days to go at the base of my stairs, as my 4-year old daughter likes to go upstairs and we don't want her going up there by herself.

I don't have a lot of cash to spend on it, so I guess I have to go the hollow route until I can save the money for a solid door. I don't care if the door looks bad, as long as my daughter and cats can't go up there.
