Trying to finish a room and I have this protrusion out from one wall that I was going to build an oak shelf across the whole way. The only problem I'm finding it's a 12" depth and a all the solid oak boards I can find are max 10". Should I try to butt two together to make this work or do you guys have any better ideas? Thanks for any help, you guys are awesome.
