Apparently when a toddler leaves frozen strawberries sitting right next to eachother on a wood table, they thaw and ooze onto the table. And leave a stain in the shape of a penis:
The stain started out bright red, but after trying a trick I saw online (baking soda/white vinegar paste mix), the red came out and it turned into what I'm affectionately calling "shadow dick" instead. Sigh. (I seem to have scrubbed some of the finish off somehow too, if you look closely at the pic).
How the heck do I get this out? Any ideas? Or will I just need to sand and stain the whole thing?
Forgot to add: the table is solid wood, but I have no idea what type or what it's finished with; bought it used from someone who'd had it in the family for decades without much upkeep.
