Looking to hand scrape my floor. Having a hard time find the right tools.

As title says I'm installing unfinished 3/4 inch solid hickory. I enjoy a hand scraped distressed look. I've tried to research online for tools but most people just recommend a paint scraper and a file. I've purchased a paint scraper and a hand scraper from woodcraft. Both seem pretty under powered for the job. I can't seem to be able to apply enough pressure to remove more that a insignificant amount of wood each pass. Any help would be awesome thanks!

Tldr: I'm to weak to scrape hickory with small tools. What do you use?
