Need to rewire this fancy lamp, but it's a bit different than those in the Youtube tutorials (photos inside)

This is the lamp that I believe needs to be rewired. It recently flickered when I was adjusting the brightness with the switch at the base, so the lightbulb did not pop or anything, which leads me to believe it's a wiring issue.

I haven't done a lot of DIY projects in my day, so I was hoping to get some advice here. All of the Youtube tutorials show how to rewire old lamps that have switches on the socket. On my lamp, as you can see in the photos, the switch is on the base, not the socket.

Will I need to take any special precautions when rewiring? Is there another strategy I should use compared to those in the tutorials across Youtube? Will I need to adjust anything in the base switch? I just want to make sure this is a good project for someone with little electrical experience before I get started. Also, I haven't been able to find the exact bulb it uses, so I want to make sure I avoid damaging it. Thanks in advance!
