I'm trying my hand at my first concrete project - a table for my patio. Wanted something cheap and cool. Was filling the concrete into my mold and had trouble with some bent metal reinforcement - had to scrap the reinforcement altogether. So what I'm wondering is: how strong is this table as is? It's 66"x47" and about 1.5 inches thick. Am I asking for trouble with this or should it be OK if I throw on a pretty stable wooden base made of 4x4s? I just have no concept on this... Any insight will be very much appreciated - thanks!
