Friend has a decent speaker system, but the only way to connect music is from an old ipod and the connection is going bad. Any way to mod it to take an aux cord?

We tore it apart to see what the internal board looked like. On the left, you can see numbers 5 and 7 are "iPhone L" and "iPhone R". Would I just be able to solder the L R of an aux cord to the board? Where would I have to do this?
