I have an old cedar gazebo in my garden. Good base, good support, good roof. Screens are shot, door is shot. Prior owners used it for a makeshift pool house. The pool is no longer, they had it removed before we bought the house.
The gazebo is a good size, and made of cedar. Unstained and untreated.
I'd like to transform it into a bar of some sort.
How would I run electricity? I have a detached garage that I could run it from, but it would have to be under my lawn.
It's in a very shady and very bug infested area. So screens are important I would think. The frames for lack of a better word don't look like they held in the screens very well. In addition, there are some gaps in the framing where mosquitoes etc can get in. Would s ceiling fan help?
Outlets. Not sure where to place them or what type I would need.
Lighting. What type would be best for this application?
I'd like a mini-fridge of some sort but would want to secure the gazebo. How would I protect the fridge from the elements? I would take it into the garage during the off season of course.
Anyone try something like this?
An outdoor mancave would be great and putting the gazebo to good use would kill two birds with one stone.
Any ideas are appreciated.
