We live in a rental and are moving out in a month. As part of the cleaning process we used some high strength mould remover spray on the ceiling in the bathroom. It worked perfectly, however a day or two later we noticed that the white paint appears to have melted and gone down the walls, creating a light white drip against the pink painted walls. :(
I have uploaded a series of pictures so you can see for yourself: here.
We'd really like to avoid having to foot the bill for repainting the walls, so I'm asking for help: What can we try to remove the white paint from the walls?
We've tried simple cleaner. I have noticed that some of it does wipe off on to my fingers in some areas, but the more heavily coated areas won't budge. We're tempted to try the mould removal spray again on it, but we want to be careful at this point so as to not make it worse.
