I have some pipes I'd like to destroy in my basement that come out of the wall and into the floor (pics below). The are probably original, as they go through the poured foundation. They look like galvanized. The house was built in 1926. Seattle, WA.
I'd like to remove these, as I just replaced and moved the utility sink that was hiding them. Now they're in the way. What do you think these are, and can I remove them?
I got a hacksaw and a dremel metal cutter, so no problem destroying them. I'm just a little afraid of a surprise.
