I’m making my own personal radio station and I need your help!

First of all, I have no idea if this is the right place for this. If not please point me to the correct subreddit and accept my humble apologies!

So I’ve been working on a project for over a year that basically boils down to making myself a giant mixtape. The purpose was to replace radio music with a colossal list of every song I like, put them on my phone and just shuffle them (playing it in my car radio through bluetooth when I’m driving or chilling on my computer). After scouring the web and painstakingly reviewing the discology of every artist I know of I’ve compiled a list of almost 1200 songs and will finish gathering the last of the music this weekend. I’ve started running the songs I have in my car this week to see how it goes and it works pretty amazing as a replacement Radio station. I carpool to work with my brother and he said it works perfectly except it’s missing the radio station feel of having a host DJ. He had the great suggestion of creating my own station call sign and recording various clips as the DJ. Create enough of them and throw them in the megamix and these clips should appear frequently enough to give that radio station feel. As an added bonus it will probably mind fuck any passengers in my car the first time a clip of myself comes on from what sounds like a normal radio station :)

So this is where the request comes in, I am looking to add about 200 of these unique audio clips and am looking for some suggestions. As this revelation just happened today I don’t have much content myself but I plan on creating the list this weekend and recording them all over the next few weeks. Any suggested type clips work be great! I’m looking for 2-20 second bits and I current have the following Categories

• Promo (Simple Promotion of the station, I’ve only written 2 lines and both are Promos. One is “You’re listening to O97.9 the One, your one stop shop for commercial free music!”

• Joke (Self Explanatory, I tell the listeners an amusing or entertaining joke/story)

• Banter (I just ramble about something like the weather)

• Factoid (An interesting or funny fact)

• Prize (I decided to make these rare and to involve any passengers that may be in my car. An example is telling the person in the passenger seat that they’ve won a free lunch from the driver, and if this ever came on with a passenger present I’d actually buy them lunch)

Any clip ideas/lines or additional categories you guys can think of would be super helpful!
