Interior lighting help/Opinion needed for low volt track installation

Hello, all. I am looking to buy one of these kits with some extra lights and install them in an L shape.

Conventionally, people seem to install the wiring in the ceiling concealed, but I would like to go a cheaper route and have the transformer wired to 120V with LED bulbs and a dimmer switch. I hope there is someone out there who can advise me on the way to achieve what I want. I guess the few questions are

1. How can i wire two kits to make one line of lights in an L shape?

2. What hardware will the L shape require?

3. Can I use only one transformer for the two kits?

4. Can I use LED bulbs dimmable here?

5. What dimmer do I need?
