I'm so sorry if this is not the appropriate sub to post my question but I'm quite in a bit of hurry. The night is approaching fast.
I just recently purchased a Husky LED Worklight. The direction in the manual is to only use this product with an 18 gauge extension cord. What I have is 16 gauge extension cord which is 100 feet long. Based on Home Depot's Guide to Buying Extension cord, I am safe with using the Husky Work Light on a 16 gauge extension cord.
Based on my basic knowledge on amperes, there will be no harm in using a bigger gauge extension cord. But am I right?
Thank you so much for your help.
