Need help hooking up TV with Bluetooth speaker.

I want to hook up my TV with a chromecast installed to a Bluetooth speaker (hasn't been bought yet), my TV does not have Bluetooth but the speaker does have an Aux. input, is it possible to connect it using that input or do I need another kind of connection?
