Bought a foreclosure, Having electrical issues, Hot/Grd Reverse Help!

After getting tired of renting, I decided to buy a condo. I could only afford a foreclosure and I bought it in as-is condition. The outlets in the house were all replaced before buying. One of the issues that i am facing is the outlets in the bedrooms giving off a Hot/Grd Reverse with the outlet tester. The issue it isolated to the number 5 circuit breaker. There are 8 regular outlets, i Gfi outlet in the bathroom and 6 light switches that are not working and showing the error above. However there is one fan, one GFI outlet, a light switch and another outlet that are working. My initial thought was that there is a issue with the wiring. I thought the tripped GFI outlet in the bathroom was causing a break in the circuit. I am not able to reset it. Any ideas? I feel that its an easy fix since all the wiring and outlets look brand new. I cant believe whoever installed them didn't check.
